More Family & Friends Arrive

The wedding guests are all booked at the same beachfront hotel.  Our family from North Dakota arrives late Thursday night and our son Paul and his girlfriend Kara arrive mid-morning Friday, 

It's raining and too windy to go out and enjoy the beach, so some of us choose to go to the Aquarium for a little entertainment.  It's an enjoyable diversion.  We decide it's time for a late lunch and count up "the clan".  Unfortunately we find that not many restaurants are able to handle a group of 17.  But, Mahi Mahi will take us at 2:15pm.  Oh well, we'll just have to have a beverage or two at the bar.  :-)

There is a steady stream of other family and friends arriving and checking into the hotel starting mid-afternoon.  My brother Dan, sister-in-law Martha and their family arrive, followed shortly after by my brother Mark and sister-in-law Lorrie.

In the evening my parents, William and I host a dinner for the out-of-town guests (approximately
50 people) at Beach Bully BBQ.  There's wonderful conversation and good food.  Several people who know of each other through Mary's stories meet for the first time. 

Following the dinner we continue the party.  The manager has said it is okay for us to assemble in the hotel lobby/breakfast area (it might help that our group is 60 - 70% of the occupancy this weekend).  William and I made some Mary & George wedding wine and had it shipped to the hotel.  We break out the cases!
